Honduras El Conejo
Silky, buttery and comforting, this Honduran coffee is versatile and delightful in any brewing method. Aromas of sweet orange, cherry and brownies melt into a thick-bodied cup that is perfectly suited for an everyday coffee. Organically grown on a certified bird-friendly farm to top it off!
Produced by Delmer and Joel Banegas, family producers and fifth generational coffee farmers. Their coffee farm, Finca El Conejo; is where they use their expertise to grow incredible coffees and utilize different processing methods to highlight their work. We are proud to share their natural processed coffee with you, where whole cherries dry in the sun before further processing, incorporating sweetness and body to the cup.
This coffee has notes of double chocolate brownies, almond, raisin, caramel, and hints of red fruits. Our favorite brewing methods include Kalita Wave and espresso - which highlight cherry and almond notes with a rich chocolate backbone. Low acidity and a thick body round out this perfect daily drinker; a great choice for sharing with family and friends!
