Tanzania Igale Peaberry
A bright and juicy African coffee for those who love unique flavors! This coffee’s aroma will delight your senses with notes of blackberry and tangerine, and wake you up with its brilliant rhubarb and citrus-like acidity. A medium roast brings out notes of amaretto, grape, and clove in this coffee.
This coffee comes from the Igale AMCOS (a small local cooperative) in the Mbozi district of Songwe, Tanzania. Small farms will bring their coffee cherries to be sorted and processed, resulting in this small lot of Igale peaberry. Peaberries are coffee seeds that do not split into two inside of the cherry; resulting in small, round, and highly flavorful little beans.
A brilliantly unique coffee; a gentle swirl will release strong notes of amaretto, while the crisp and fruity flavor shines with a lime and rhubarb-like acidity that is perfect for brighter coffee lovers. A hint of clove and dark chocolates round out this exciting coffee experience.
