Honduras La Concepcion Honey
Mild and comforting, this Honduran coffee is versatile and delightful in any brewing method. Aromas of caramel, cookies, and cocoa powder melt into a clean and rich cup that is perfectly suited for an everyday coffee. Organically grown on a certified bird-friendly farm to top it off!
Produced by Manuel Pereira in Marcala, Honduras; who is known for his excellent honey processed coffees. Manuel and his wife run Finca La Concepción as a family operation, and their passion for coffee as well as their innovative spirit surround their commitment to consistently improve and implement new ideas. Their picked cherries are stripped of their skin and fruit, leaving a layer of sugars (mucilage layer) on the fruit for drying, giving us the intricately sweet flavor of honey processed coffee.
This coffee has notes of cocoa powder, a burnt honey sweetness, and hints of stone fruit. Strong caramel aromas melt into a clean and comforting coffee that tastes even sweeter as it cools. Low acidity and a moderate body round out this perfect daily drinker; a great choice for sharing with family and friends!
